Bill’s Corner: Art To Live With

Georges Seurat (1859-1891) was a French painter and founder of the 19th-century French school of neo-impressionism. His technique for portraying the play of light using tiny brushstrokes and small dots of contrasting colors became known as Pointillism. From a distance the tiny brushstrokes and dots blend together visually.
