A self-taught artist, Leslie has been a creative force for most of her life, always coloring outside the lines of the traditional!

Staying true to her spirit, she creates art that tells a story of the world around her. Using her love of vibrant colors, asemic writing, patterns, nature and whimsy, her signature style brings a sense of joy to the heart and home.

Over the last decade, Leslie has worked to create her brand and her company, Lane Tree & Lily, LLC, expanding her 2D art into the world of 3D sculptures, mixed media, textiles, including needlepoint canvases, apparel, home décor, gift cards and so much more.

Leslie has created designs for the Merle Jam Concerts in Kansas City in 2020 & 2025, The Midwest Transplant Network, and the Kansas City Parade of Hearts in 2022 & 2024

Her awards include Lenexa Art Fair -"Best Of Show" in 2016, “Best 2D” Artist in 2017,  "Best 3D" Artist in 2025 and "Third Place 3D" Artist at Lawrence Art In The Park in 2024. She has also been the Feature Artist at the Muchnic Art Gallery and Cultural Corners Art Guild & Gallery.
